These terms explain what BusyCounter does, what you agree to when you use it, and what we promise in return. “You” means the business that signs up. “We” means BusyCounter.
What BusyCounter is
BusyCounter is software that sends payment reminders for your unpaid bills on WhatsApp, from your own WhatsApp Business number, in wording you approve. It reads your customers’ replies, sorts them (paid, promised, disputed, call me) and shows you who has paid and what needs you.
BusyCounter is not a collection agency. We do not contact your customers in our own name, and we never hold your customers’ money.
Who may use it
BusyCounter is for businesses in India. The person who signs up must be at least 18 years old and allowed to act for the business.
Your responsibilities
When you use BusyCounter, you agree that:
- the bills you add are real and the amounts are correct;
- you collect only money that is lawfully owed to you, and you treat your customers fairly;
- you have your customers’ permission to message them about their bills, and you stop when they ask you to;
- you have read and approved every message wording before it is sent; and
- you follow WhatsApp’s Business Policy and Commerce Policy, and Indian law.
WhatsApp charges
Messages go from your own WhatsApp Business number, through Meta. Meta bills you directly for the messages you send, at Meta’s rates. BusyCounter adds nothing on top and is not responsible for Meta’s charges.
Fees
Our first 100 businesses pay nothing for their first 3 months; every other business pays nothing for its first month. After that, BusyCounter costs ₹799 a month, billed monthly with a pay link. No card is needed, and you can stop anytime. Prices are shown on our pricing page.
We never hold your customers’ money
When a customer pays through a link in a reminder, the money goes to your own payment account with the payment provider you connected. It does not pass through BusyCounter.
Your data
You own the data you put into BusyCounter. We use it only to run the service for you. Our privacy policy explains what we hold, why, who helps us run the service, and how long we keep it.
Suspension
We may pause or close an account that is used to harass people, to send messages that break WhatsApp’s policies or the law, or to collect money that is not owed. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Messages you send
You are responsible for the messages sent from your account and for the claims you make in them. BusyCounter sends what you approved; it does not check whether a bill is correct.
Our liability
We work hard to send every reminder on time, but we cannot promise the service will never fail or that every customer will pay. If something goes wrong, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
Ending your account
You can stop using BusyCounter at any time by telling us. When an account closes, you have 30 days to ask for an export of your data. After that, we delete it, as the privacy policy describes.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction over any dispute.
